Makan is currently taking a break from 1st January 2021, and will reopen on Wednesday 20th January. Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday.
Makan (Indonesian) – eat. Often used as a salutation for when a person is about to eat.
The first venture of Tasia & Gracia Seger (My Kitchen Rules 2016 winners), Makan celebrates the elements of Balinese and Indonesian cuisine; a fusion of vibrant, colourful ingredients, intensely flavoured dishes, and the people who come together and share it. With a warm ambiance creating an intimate retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the CBD, Makan is an exciting discovery of tempting flavours and a contemporary take on authentic traditions.

Makan is a Balinese escape in the heart of Melbourne, where the flavours of the food are a direct reflection of the spirited personalities in the kitchen!
